  • You can generate a Venmo scan code and share it, using the Venmo App.
  • If the account doesn't have enough money to make the transaction, Vemo will automatically draw the total amount from your linked funding source ( credit card, bank account ... ).

  • Creating a Venmo account is free.
  • Receiving Money is free.
  • Sending money is also free but you need to link your Venmo account to a bank account or debit card.
  • 3% fee when you send money or fund your account, in case your Venmo account is linked with a credit card.
  • Basic transfers from a Venmo account to a bank account are free, but it takes a few days.
  • 0.25$ fee when transferring your Venmo balance to a bank account using an eligible Mastercard or Visa card. ( Up to 30 minutes ).

  • For existing Venmo accounts, the money could arrive in a Venmo account from a few hours to a 1-2 days.
